This year, the American Youth Circus Festival will be a two-day virtual event
April 17th and April 18th (World Circus Day Weekend)!
Circus youth need connection right now more than ever – AYCOfest 2021 is the place to find it! Online activities include workshops, social events, youth-led activities, and more. Meet other circus youth from all over, learn interesting and useful skills, discover new things, and geek out about everything circus-related!
For one ticket price, you can pick and choose which sessions to attend over the weekend – and some will even be recorded to watch later on your own time! The schedule allows for plenty of screen breaks and physical movement. Adults may register if they’re interested, but the focus is on the circus youth experience and appeal.

The event schedule, session sign-up, and access to Zoom links are all available through Sched, which is separate from the ticket purchase system. Sched opens for session sign-up Sat April 3rd at 9am PT/ 12pm ET. If you purchase your ticket before April 3rd, you will be sent a direct email invitation to join the Sched on April 3rd before 9am PT/12pm ET. If you purchase your ticket after April 3rd, your Sched invitation will be sent within 24hrs of your registration.

Tickets are available on a sliding scale:
$30 member /$40 non-member – If your family is just meeting your costs of living.
$50 member/$60 non-member – If your family is meeting your costs of living, but don’t really have much extra.
$75 member/$85 non-member – If your family is comfortably meeting all of costs of living. (This is the actual value of the Festival ticket!)
$100 member/$110 non-member – If you want to help others attend the conference in addition to your own ticket cost, and your family is comfortably meeting all your costs of living and additionally able to contribute to savings, make donations to worthy causes, etc.
Keep in mind that often it would cost $15-45 for just a single online workshop – but the AYCO festival is a whole weekend of fun programs and opportunities to connect with other circus youth from all over the country, run by a nonprofit dedicated to circus education!
This year AYCO membership is not required for the event, but we encourage you to consider becoming a member if you’re not yet – Youth Members get a $10 discount to the event plus fun surprise swag in the mail! (Youth membership costs $35/year.) Memberships support AYCO/ACE in doing great work for our circus education community – we couldn’t do it without you!
Tech-savvy helpers needed! Volunteers receive a free pass to the festival. We prioritize volunteers ages 18-26 in order to support emerging circus educators as they develop their networks, but ages 18+ are welcome to apply.
